This other Eden, demi-Symbolically, the photograph '' Persistence of Eden or forbidden fruit '' is intended to represent a version of the lost paradise. The diffuse light, drooping shapes recall the light veil on human form and the shape at mid-height represents a fruit near the heart. In this sense, it represents the repressed desires of our humanity and this, whatever our culture, religion or belief.
