My photographic approach tends to highlight the natural environment by a photography of proximity. To see things more closely, to reveal the details often invisible to the simple passer-by, is what my photographic style has been trying for several years. My photographic processing varies according to the themes exploited. When it is in contrast, it reveals all colors and textures, while black and white leaves room for the dreamlike, subconscious and symbolism. This is the object of my photograph, to give a new meaning to the forms and to the natural rhythm, to break the spaces and time, and to recombine them in current world order, or rather, disorder. Finally, create something new from a basic world.
Fine Art Photography Awards conducts an annual competition for Professional and Amateur photographers. Our mission is to celebrate Fine Art photography and to discover emerging talent from around the world.
Évaluation photographiques LensCulture
LensCulture est un magazine en ligne traitant de photographie artistique contemporaine.
Yvon, your entry is very strong and compelling, thank you for showing us a sea life that otherwise would be hard to encounter.
From the beginning your images are full of life; its color, its closeness, its sharpness and its details signify a photographer that is inquisitive and deeply embedded in their project.
I really enjoy some of your images; image 01, 08, 09, 10 are perhaps the strongest images, although they all together work really well. Image 01, introduces us to a new space, it is the opener of the project and you have chosen the correct image to introduce the project to the audience. The other images that I have mentioned are also very well composed but also incredibly compelling. It is really exiting to see work where all images work so well with each other, and that is a rare thing to achieve.
My advise is to keep exploring and keep developing and polishing your unique eye one by one image, although all the images are beautiful to see, I trust that we can see even more polished and unique images from you. Images 04, 05, 06, are beautiful shots; however once the viewer is pass the color and texture, the images fail to stay in our memory and you want work that will for a time echo in the mind of your viewers.
Overall I see you are in the right path, just keep focusing on this project and take time looking at the work you have produced, this is always a good tool for learning.
